Meanwhile, it was found that six candidates have yet to give their ID or passport size photographs for candidates’ posters.
As such, Returning Officer for the Kandep Open electorate by-election Mr. Poevare Torre is appealing the six candidates to give in their photos by Wednesday September 30. Failure to do so would mean that the six candidates would have no photos in the candidates’ posters.
The six candidates are therefore advised to deliver their photos by September to the Returning Officer Mr. Torre in Kandep or Acting Director Election Administration Mr. Peter Malaifeope at the PNG Electoral Commission headquarters at Angau Centre office, Boroko in Port Moresby.
APPROVED FOR RELEASE.
