The PNGEC is committed to institutionalizing gender equity and social inclusion through policy and procedural reform and implementation in all electoral process through the following steps:

1. Election Managers, AEMs and ROs must conduct voter civic education program that inform the public on GESI related issues involving women, youth, PLWD and PLWH.
2. Increase participation of women, youth, PLWD and other marginalized groups in all Election process.
3. Recruitment process of all TEW must be gender balance inclusive of all other marginalized groups.

The PNGEC has appointed a focal point in early April 2022 to address issues related to equity in voting.
